An early mollusc, the Orthoceras was a nautiloid cephalopod from the Middle Ordivician period - between 458 and 480 million years ago!
Due to its incredible elongated shape and well-preserved hard shell, Orthoceras specimens have become some of the most widely collected fossils in recent years.
Please note, as each piece is a product of nature it is entirely unique, and while it will be very similar, the piece you receive will not precisely match that in the photographs.
