$49.95

The red-bellied black snake is one of Australia’s most striking reptile specimens, with its satin black back camouflaging its vibrant red underbelly.  Although normally quite placid, its venom is still dangerous to humans. Zoologist George Shaw was the first European man to identify and document the species.

This exclusive rare print sourced from Museums Victoria's own collection features bookplate 10 from Zoology of New Holland by George Shaw (1794.)
